The Zero waste and Zero waste (in English Zero Waste) is a waste management strategy that aims to redesign the cyclic life of waste considered not as waste but resources can be reused as secondary raw materials, opposing practices that provide for incineration or landfill processes necessarily, and straining to eliminate or significantly reduce the amount of waste to be disposed of. The process is based on the reuse of resources found in nature.

Among its major theorists there is prof.. Paul Conn, Professor Emeritus of St.. Lawrence University.
